Master’s and PhD Scholarships at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University


Doctorate Program The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University was established in 2010 with the primary purpose of delivering education in various branches of study in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and other allied subjects. Graduate Program (PG) will be offered in the Faculty of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry for the year 2011.
A number of candidates still admitted to Master and Ph.D. degree programs are eligible for an assistant. The Doctorate Program assistant to the Master is of Rs. 10,000 /-per month and for the Ph.D. amounting to Rs. 20.000 /-per month. Feasibility assistant should be decided based on the rank list prepared for entry.
All students admitted to Master's and Ph.D. program are eligible to receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 3000/-and Rs. 5000 / - per month, respectively. Candidates who are given no other fellowship / scholarship will not be eligible for benefits on top. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

PhD Position Doctorate Program in Landscape Architecture Modeling and Visualizing


This Doctorate Program study will look more specifically at the dynamics of river landscape on the outskirts of Jakarta, proposes a series of scenarios that take into account the benefits of improved social, cultural and ecological comparisons for each site studied. Various scenarios landscaping will modify the land use pattern, using the vegetation to increase the conductivity of the environment and provide shade for the alternative "soft" transport network which will further serve the ecosystem service approach.

Doctorate Program Candidates will be registered as students of ETH Zurich / PhD FCL, but the research will be conducted in Singapore during the period of doctoral degrees. The "Landscape and Ecology" The team will be coached jointly by the Senior Researcher and Post Doctoral researchers have proven knowledge of relevant fields.

PhD
Doctorate Program students will join a research team living in Singapore, working on a complex interdisciplinary projects at the interface of landscape and ecology and computer simulation. This position will start on 10.01.2011 or thereafter flexible.

Qualification

Doctorate Program Participants will need to have a good academic education (Masters) in architecture, urban planning or landscape architecture with emphasis on modeling and visualizing large-scale landscapes and 3D sound knowledge of numerical methods. additional knowledge in landscape design and ecology that would be expected. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

Experience with 3D GIS and handling multivariable datasets and software combination is preferred.
Doctorate Program Applicants will be highly motivated for scientific research and has a special interest in the topic with the appropriate background, has a personal initiative, feel comfortable with both teamwork and independent, and have good organizational skills. Very good oral and written command of English at the required academic level.

Newcastle University Foundation Scholarship Doctorate Program


There are ten scholarships Doctorate Program available for the following Foundation International Program:
Lane-Foundation in Business and Management
Lane-Foundation in Humanities and Social Sciences
Lane-Foundation in Physical Sciences and Engineering
Lane-Foundation in Biology and Biomedical Sciences
Scholarships cover the total tuition of one year. You will receive the first half while on your path scholarship program, and the second half when you start your degree at Newcastle University. Value will be the award of £ 11,490 - £ 12,990, depending on the chosen path Foundation.
All
Doctorate Program international students who pay can apply for this scholarship. The candidates who have completed 12 years of school (or local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades eligible to apply. Doctorate Program Applicant must have a minimum language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 English to a specified degree program and must be at least 17 years.

Scholarship Description:
The International Office is delighted to announce 2 Newcastle University Nigeria Scholarship (NU Nigeria Scholarship) awards. These are available for high achieving Nigerian students applying for entry onto postgraduate taught degree or research programmes within the Faculties of Humanities Arts and Social Sciences (HASS), Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE), and Medical Sciences (FMS) commencing their studies in September 2011. Each scholarship will have a value of £3,000, payable towards the first year of tuition fees.

Eligibility:
You could be eligible to apply for a NU Nigeria Scholarship if: You have been offered a place on any postgraduate degree programme in the faculties of HASS, SAgE or FMS.You are a Nigerian national and have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes. Forestry and Environmental Science - Full PhD Scholarship doctorate program

A full PhD scholarship valued at $27,000 per annum is available to work on a major externally funded project within the Environmental Futures Centre at Griffith University.

Project: Wyaralong dam carbon offset and greenhouse gas investigation program
Funded by: Queensland Water Infrastructure

The successful PhD candidate will work on carbon dynamics in soils and sediments of Wyaralong dam areas under the joint supervision of Dr Chengrong Chen, Professor Zhihong Xu and Dr Tim Blumfield (all members of the Environmental Futures Centre).

Scholarship value and duration

The full PhD scholarship is valued at $27,000 per annum.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to suitable candidates with first or second class honours (2A) degrees (or equivalent) in a relevant field, available to start immediately.
